How It Works

Performance-Based Scoring

On each day of play, companies will be pitted against each other in our InvestTalk Market Madness tournament. The company with the better market performance for that day will emerge as the winner and advance to the next round.

Example of Company Matchups

Let's say we have Company A and Company B facing off. If Company A's stock price increases by 5% for the day while Company B's stock price only increases by 3%, then Company A would be declared the winner for that round and move forward in the competition.

Stay in the know every game day: we will share match-up previews and winning results on our YouTube Channel. You can also track the madness through our website, social media, and direct email updates.

Your Market Madness FAQs

How do I view my bracket once it's submitted?

You will receive a confirmation email from our software, CommonNinja, which includes a link to access your bracket. This link will allow you to view and manage your bracket throughout the tournament.

Can I make changes to my bracket after submission?

Yes, you can make changes to your bracket up until March 18th, 11:59 pm by using the link provided in your original confirmation email.

Who is eligible to win the prize of $1000?

Only residents of the United States and non-clients of KPP Financial are eligible to receive a cash prize. Non-residents and clients of KPP Financial may participate in the competition but are not eligible to receive a cash prize due to SEC regulations.

What if there is a tie for the winner?

If there is a tie, the prize money will be divided equally amongst the winners. 

How do I view the leaderboard?

The leaderboard will be available to see on our Market Madness bracket page.

How will I be notified if I won?

Winners will be notified via email. If a winner does not respond within 10 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

How will I know the outcome of the matches?

Match scores will be announced on our InvestTalk YouTube Channel on the days of each matchup, ensuring you stay informed about the competition's progress. Additionally, scores will be updated regularly on the InvestTalk Madness Bracket page, providing you with real-time insights into the tournament's standings.
